Two toned frosting is like the crowning glory on cakes and cupcakes. Amazingly easy to pull off, impress your family and guests with beautifully decorated treats.
Here in 6 easy steps, I give you instructions on how to make this frosting to create this effect.
Just pop the nozzle you prefer to use into the bag, cut a little hole and push the nozzle through. Place the bag, nozzle side down in to the glass and open the bag around the glass so it is easy to work.
Get the two colors ready. Here I am using Pink and White.
Using a spoon or spatula spread it into the bag on one side upwards. So the white is on one half of the bag.
The amount icing you put of each color in the bag will determine the density of swirl you will get.
Next, fill in the second color. Here I’m using Pink. It is a bit messy, but believe me it is amazing how beautifully it pipes.
Next, twist the top of the bag to close and squeeze some icing out onto a plate until you reach a two tone effect you’re looking for. The beginning might be an out put of all white or all pink depending on how close to the nozzle your color is spread. Once the two colors meet you will have a nice two tone effect.
